No secrets here.

Okay, so no family secrets as Jacque thought. I really have no idea what Nikki is talking about with the whole not asking but receiving thing. But, we have a huge Fourth of July party every year for work. This year, a statistical consultant that we have been working with showed up solo. Since he didn't have anyone else to chat with, we hung out together for most of the eve. (He's like 50 and married with kids, so not that kind of hanging out.)

He's a really nice guy and as we were chatting, Florida came up as did me wanting to pursue the PhD. Well, being one of the top consultants and having colleagues who teach at USF, he said he'd love to write me a reference letter! Aiiieeee!!! I'm so excited.

Said goodbye to my parents and niece on Sunday. It was hardest with Alaina, because I can't talk to her on the phone and she doesn't know that it is good-bye. However, we ate late at Runza and as we were running around she just giggled and giggled at me. She laughed so hard she acutally got sick. It was really funny (after I cleaned her up while she continued to giggle.)

Mom didn't cry until they pulled away, but too bad for her she left something in my car, so I chased down the truck. She just continued to cry. Oh well, gotta love moms.

This is what I was talking about. DUH.

I did well tonight. Didn't cry. I really didn't!! Aren't you proud of me? I think it's knowing that you will be back fairly often. That helps a LOT. Poor Aunt J. I don't like to see her cry. I breaks my heart.

DRIVE SAFE. Blog when you get there. And I mean before you unpack!! ;) Love you and miss you already.

Okay. I just cried reading about your mom crying. Ugh.

Can't wait to read your blog from Florida. Well - I won't be reading it from Florida. Your blog will be written from...ah never mind.

Knew about Kelly, only because mom found out from someone who had Nathan doing something work-related. Sprinklers?

Anyway - have a safe trip!
