It is 4 am Tampa time, and I have just finished the final Harry Potter book. (There will be no spoilers here, so continue reading....)
For nearly the last seven years (I was late to jump on the bandwagon) I have become a part of her world. I laughed and cried while reading the books and then sat in awe at her imagination and her ability to convey it through words. I also admire her for bringing her work to a stunning and satisfying conclusion. Not one prediction could even compare to what she dreamed up. Happy reading to you all (don't scare Jay too much OM), and I am off to bed for what will most likely be a fitful sleep where I relive every battle, quest, and heartfelt moment of this last book.
Ah. Gotta love the sentimental posts.

Well, well, well...you did that right! Staying up till 4 in the morning, finishing it off. I got tipsy last night and found a spoiler online. So I know. I'm going to start year 4 today (Goblet of Fire?), so am REALLY behind jumping on the bandwagon. Like 8 years late. I figure I'll be done with the series in a couple of weeks. I thought this post was great.
Ummmm.... I have yet to start #1!!! Let's talk LATE!!! OM.... mail me the books or somethin!! Actually.... might be in Omaha next weekend. I will let you know. We might need to have a gathering at "The Deck".
Y'all are making me want to go to Barnes and Noble and buy the books. I can't though. I have to wait for September when I get to buy the new Nicholas Sparks. If I go now, I will spend so much I won't have the $$ for that one. So, I need to get one from one of you!!
