As we parked (very close since this is the area she works in), we head off to The Rock'N Roller Coaster. Waiting in line, she gets a text (another perk), the ride is down! ARE you KIDDING?!? Four rides in one day. E said if we had been regular visitors, our day would have been comped. That is how unusual this is. Instead, we dash for food (which also took incredibly long --even a manager came in to help the crew) and then off to Fantasmic.
For those of you who do not know, this is a night even in an open amphitheater around a little lake with a hug mountain/island in it. On that island, we see Mickey step out. He starts directing the water cannons until he "creates" a huge fan of water dead center of the lake.

Projected onto this fan are scenes from "The Scorceror's Apprentice". As he brings up the waves in the picture, real waves appear. Then comes Fantasia scenes. It was so awesome!! (30 second flick)
Then comes the whole plotline. Mickey is up against all Disney villains in his dream. Hades from Hercules, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, The witch from Sleeping Beauty and of course, the Wicked Queen from Snow White with her magic mirror.

For a brief moment everything is okay, the princesses come out and dance, John Smith falls in love with Pocahontas, and the Lion King is born in the forest of Africa...

But then, Mickey must face the Witch in Dragon form.

She sets the lake on fire, but using Excalibur, Mickey defeats her.

Everyone comes out to celebrate...

And then, the finale....(1 minute flick)
I was so moved by it all. It was so incredible and artistic. Seeing some of my favorite characters larger than life. (I wish that the Lion King photos would have turned out too. They proud out huge animals painted in blacklight sensitive paint that the made to look like they were moving around while the music played.)
After the show, we finally made it onto the Rock'N Roller Coaster and then headed to the Tower of Terror. It was incredibly cool. We rocked out on the roller coaster to "Dude looks like a lady" and then on the next ride were visited by Twilight Zone ghosts as we were dropped about three flights in an elevator shaft that opened up so we could look out at the park.
Thanks to E for showing me around. It was the best moving present anyone could ever give me. She even took me on a mini dessert tour. We had fresh Tollhouse cookie ice cream sandwiches (The cookies were still warm!), Dole pineapple icecream, and then the grand finale of desserts, banana bread pudding. It was sinfully delicious. She is so amazing and I could not imagine seeing the park through the eyes of a better person. Someday, I think I might be able to say I know one of the CEOs of Disney.
Hope I did not go off too long. I will update you on other goings on later...

You can't ever go on too long about a venture such as Disney World. You have made me want to go back so bad that I actually looked in to tickets. Except that I want all of my kids to be old enough to remember it all. **sigh** .... In a few short years, my dear.... a few short years.
That was awesome. I'm with Nikki - I'm counting the years until we take the kids! I'm so proud of you for adding pics and video. AWESOME!
Way interesting! Not too long! What a great present - you were really blessed!
I'm glad you had fun! Come back anytime...you haven't even peaked at two parks.
