So, After not talking to X for about a month (even though he kept calling), he called and left the saddest message on my phone on Wednesday. He is so good at playing the depressed guy that just wants to talk to his friend it's scary. While other people may call and leave a nasty message to try and get a reply, he simply sound like he will cry to try and get me to call back (and somehow, it usually works.)
Well, I decided that I am tired of it. So, I sent an email telling him that I simply can not pursue a friendship with his any longer. Then, he sent one back that night. It went on about how he values my friendship and wishes I would reconsider. However, I did not get it until the next morning, accompanied with a second email:
i was hoping for a reply by now but i guess not. it pains me to think that this is it. never would have guessed that our relationship would end in an e-mail. funny how things work out i guess. just so you know i think that i am going to apply at the hospital to do phlebotomy and go back to school. have been talking alot with my dad and connie both about it and u were right. i don't want to do UPS for the rest of my life. so thank you. i have an appointment with an advisor next week and i will go from there. your straight shooting attitude is what i will miss the most because every one needs someone like that in their life. i hope that someday we might be able to talk again but i am doubting that too. wish there was something that i could do.... or say. i wish u the best and hope that you find happiness in all that you do. you will always have a place in my heart. should you ever need anything please call and know that i will be there for you. i hope that some day those feelings might be reciprocated. you friend always, Anthony.
NOW, he has goals. NOW, he wants to talk like adults. Forget it. It's not worth it.

Man! He is good. I almost want to call him and I didn't ever realy warm up to him! (to explain to anyone else reading, I didn't like him because the second time I met him, Alaina was two weeks old and he said she stank like her mother. Not good to say to a hormonal woman!) I hope he stays gone, he really can mess with your mind. Way to stay strong!
yeah he sure knows how to press your buttons. Lucky you know better!
BINGO! Congratulations on getting away from what sounds like a very disfunctional situation! Stay strong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bet someone wrote that for him or he got it from a movie...whatever... as I read it all I could think was GMWAS (gag me with a spoon)!!!!
I can't believe you will be back in NE in about 10 days!!! I miss you!!! Wait til you see Alaina, in pigtails!
Hey, Katie, where are the pics?
I agree with everyone who has posted thus far, but mostly with Aunt J..... GMWAS!!!!! Stay strong, Stacey. RUN THE OTHER WAY!!!! You know how to play his game as well as he knows how to push your buttons. See if he actually follows through with his goals. Now taking bets!!! I'm serious folks. Let's take bets on whether or not he will follow through and how fast he drops the goals. Any takers?!?!?
