So, on a whim, I called an old friend up from college. He got his PhD while I was getting my Master's degree and we were friends, but not best buds. Anyway, he's back in Missourri and head back to Lincoln every so often to catch up with people. I wanted to let him know that I was back in town in a few weeks and we talked for 3 hours! Holy cow! I didn't even know he could talk for that long, let alone on the phone?!?
We talked about everything. From future plans, to parents, to visiting Vancouver. I think that perhaps he gets a little lonely since he is originally from LA. Anyway. It was a nice chat and we are going to meet up in December when he gets hooded. (He won't be back to Lincoln until a mutual friend is hooded the week after thanksgiving.)
That's all really. No big updates here.
