Boys and bosses

As an overanalyzer, I would like you to realize that this is not something that really bothers me, but more of a "thinking out loud" blog. Ev, thanks for putting up with it for a second time.
So, after spending nearly all day with Brandon on Saturday and not watching the movie that I specifically rented for us to watch (it was a German film by a director that we like), I asked when he wanted to see it. He thought perhaps last night, but I already had a coffee date with Ev planned. So, he said just to call when we were done. At about 10 pm when we finished, I got in my car to head back to Katie's and thought I should call him anyway. Well, he still wanted to see it if I was up for it. Okay. Starting a movie together at 10 pm on a Monday night.

Ev and I were just discussing if he likes likes me, or if he just likes me. Ev thinks he does, I think he just likes me as a replacement for when he wants to hang with his best bud Jesse and his girlfriend Faith. The first time I met them, it was a very double-datey atmosphere. Since then, we have gone out many times, the four of us. Anyway, I headed over there and we sat there, in the dark, at the opposite ends of the couch. . . . Pretty sure he doesn't like like me, no matter what Ev says and no matter how much Faith wishes it were so.

Anyway, the big boss came in today and asked me to do some more special projects. I love being the "go to girl". I serves me just fine and allows me to do what I do best. What can I say? He loves me.
