Flew back home on Friday, so I have been late in posting. I got in late and headed down to the hockey game with some people from work. Left that early to go visit Nikki and the FAC club. Then met up with the work group downtown for a little dancing action.
Saturday, did some shopping with the sis and niece. Got my Shafer grab bag gift for Christmas already...it's a winner! It was fun since we headed over to the little shopping area by Wesleyan. The shop Sonata is owned by someone Katie works with, so we enjoy browsing there.
Later that day I got to go for another Harley ride with Brandon. It's always fun to go cruisin on a Saturday with him. That night, we headed to Davy for a b-day celebration for a lady we work with. They had Kareoke so I sang Gretchen Wilson's "Here for the Party". I'm an okay singer (I can carry a tune minus the bucket), but when I finished I got a standing ovation! Then Brandon followed up with Cash's "Ring of Fire". A good time was had by all. We left there early to watch a movie at his place with Faith and Jesse. It was so fun to be with the gang again. We sat around and drank Jack Daniels' Down Home Punch and man did it pack a punch. I ended up crashing on the couch and woke up very disoriented. (As I stared at the ceiling fan, all I could think was: Uhhh...where am I? Followed by: How did my shoes get there? Then, Where are my keys?) Not a good way to wake up.
Sunday, I just chilled with Katie. When I come home, I run around so much that I decided this trip was short and I am going to take a few days just for me. Also, today is the last day for the weight challenge at work. This is good since I already made plans to gorge tomorrow at lunch at OSO burritto and then dinner at The Blue Orchid. Yeah for me!

does this mean we can or cannot gorge tonight??
I am so glad that you are having a good visit while you are here!!! Hope that while you are home for Christmas we can hang more than just the little bits and pieces we have had lately (minus the casino night!!). Hope you have a great Thanksgiving. Lotsa love!!
