Today started off bad. I didn't realize how crabby I was until I got off the phone with Captain.
Since I have been doing so well with the weight challenge for work, I rewarded myself. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Mcdonalds sausage biscuits with an egg. So, I headed out to get one this morning. Perfect start to a very busy week. I sat down to eat and ARRRGGHHHH!!!! There on the side of the bag, is my receipt and that annoying little sticker that says "double checked for accuracy", but inside the bag is a freakin saugsage biscuit with cheese! I was angry enough to get back into my car, drive three blocks and demand the right biscuit.
Everything else went pretty well, but then I realized that a coupon for my favorite store (the limited) was expiring today. Never one to snub $15 off of anything, I head to the mall. I also have another coupon for $30 off $100. And I need me some winter clothes for NE. There were five associates in the store plus me, and guess what? NO SERVICE. I was not approached for 15 minutes and they simply took my clothes to the COUNTER. I dang near tried them on there just to let them know I was irritated. Instead, I helped myself to a dressing room where I tried on clothes for another 15 minutes. Not one single associate asked if I needed help or different sizes. Too bad I found lots of good stuff. I got one sweater to use my first coupon with and wrote down the sizes of everything else so I can get them in NE. SO THERE!! Put that in your snobby little pipe and smoke it! GRRrrr.....
Do I look cheap? I wish I could keep a copy of my W2 in my purse so when that happens I can pull it out and do a Pretty Woman move. "I was in here yesterday and you wouldn't help me. You work off of commission, right? Big mistake. Big. HUGE!"
That'd show them.
(The one highlight of me running into my neighbor while on my run at the park was TOTALLY overshadowed.....)
P.S. Mel, I am back to blogging everyday, so please, feel free to check daily. Mom checks about three times a day, so I try to keep her on her toes......

I, too, check several times a day, just to make sure everyone is ok. It helps me feel connected. Thank Goodness for the internet to stay together even though miles apart. I love it. Although..... I miss getting letters in the mailbox (snail mail that is.).
Isn't it amazing how some days you wake up feeling poopy and no matter how hard you try, it just won't turn around? That was my day on Thursday last week. Thankfully, Riley and Kala came down for the weekend and all was well again. Hadn't seen them in a year. It was WONDERFUL!!! (Maybe I should blog about it rather than post a mile long comment on your page, huh!?!?)
Big hugs and lotsa love from NE. CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU!!!!
