Gobbledegook

A plethera of updates for you:

This weekend is Gasparilla, a pirate festival that extends over two weekends. They have a pirate ship out in the bay, a parade, and street party. YEARGH!! I hope to make a few events, but it doesn't seem like something that I really want to do by myself.

Yesterday some coworkers were here working with Clinique. They invited me along and I met many of the leading ladies here in Florida. Not only that, but one of the leaders is sending me a free product basket! Yeah! She is sending me a bunch of face care products and a few cosmetics.
Had a sinus infection and somehow managed to convince the ENT that did my surgery to call in an Rx rather than going to a clinic for $100.

Got my graduate school apps in. I tried to get things done ahead of time, but I can't seem to writie anything inspirational unless it is last minute. Also, when I went to get my last recommendation letter, I got a wonderful note from the CEO that wrote it. He is the guy that everyone warned me about when we first started to work together. They said he was hard to please and very demanding (you know the type), but in his email to me, he said "I would say good luck... but it's hard to imagine you would need any luck at all. If they don't accept you, who on earth would they accept?" What a great guy!
I also learned that there are no follow up interviews. Everything that I handed in is what they use to make their decision. good thing I handed in the optional Curriculum vitae and writing sample. Hopefully the are more impressed with the fact that my APA research paper was 22 pages and are not distracted by the fact that I have not produced any research papers since my undergraduate degree. Oh well, I hope that it works. Keep me in your thoughts.

you're in like Flynn. I really don't know what that means, but it sounds encouraging.
