Made it home safe and sound today. It was a crazy weekend. Hanging out with friends while nursing a headcold was really a tough ordeal. Little sleep was counteracted by the fantastic hot tub time at Emb. Suites. I really enjoyed staying there a lot more than I did at the cornhusker. Oh well.
The weekend ended with my holiday party. Katie was my date and to carry on my streak, I won a prize. A one hundred dollar gift cert to Edmonds. (A male clothing store.....) Hey, at least I won something. I wore the hot dress and stayed out too late (the last prize was drawn at 10:30, and I was dragging by 9)
Got lots of twin comments and hope that Katie had a good time too.
I just got home and Ev picked me up from the airport. (She came down early to crash at my place while attending an academic conference.) Tomorrow is E's b-day, so we are heading to Orlando for some girl time. It should be fun, and hopefully I can get my reference letter done tomorrow so it will not be weighing on my mind!! Go me!

Get some rest. But get that letter done. Get them sent in. Can't wait to hear where you'll be attending. Maybe you and Jay and be the Dr. D's at the same time frame! (He's on a 3-5 year track, depending on a few variables...).
