Did you hear that??

That was the sound of me screaming from Florida. I went to go get my car registered and as I was pulling away I realized that I forgot to get my bank's fax number. When I finally got ahold of them I discovered that they might not let me register my car in FL. There are a few states that they do not accept it in and she would get back to me. About five minutes ago, I still had not received a call, so I called them back. Well, she screwed up my new phone number, but it's okay since I can register my car here. Phew!! Wasn't sure how I was going to get that one fixed....

It's been too serious down here lately. Been avoiding calls from all ex's and making sure that The Captain stays sane. I did get to hang out with K the other day for a study date. (Good thing that Panera is acceptable to the all-organic queen.)

My friend Brandy is coming down this weekend. Her b-day is friday and she is really excited for it. Also, she has the book 1,000 places to see before you die and three things are in FL. The Everglades, Manatee Tours and shell beaches. Well, due to time constraints, it looks like we are not going to be able to swim with Manatees Sad, I know, but I could just envision myself being attacked by the "normally docile" creatures. Not to mention, I swim like a rock.

Here was my other random thought for the day. I got up, checked my email, went for a run with my ipod, SPF 15, and high tech running shoes, and while I was putting in my contacts so I can see, I realized how cool it is to live in this generation.

I don't have to wait half an hour for coffee, I can put pieces of silicone in my eyes so my vision is not blurry and live 1600 miles away from my office. Do you ever just stop and think WOW! Sometimes, it just hits me.

You're livin' the dream girl! Go!!!

And ~ prayers for your friend. Be there for HIM, forget about HER. As long as he focuses on his kids, they will be okay too. That kind of pain is going to take so long to heal. He's lucky to have you as a friend.

I always look at what all Grandma Shafer has seen in her lifetime and wonder what we will see in our (Lord willing) next 40 years of life! Just when I think there is no way "they" can improve an idea (computers) they prove me wrong. The world is an amazing place!!!
