Happy VD! (A gift for you all at the end)

Okay, here comes the sappiness. My greatest romantic moments:
Never having a really good (or healthy for that matter) relationship, I really enjoy movie moments, song lyrics and the moments of others.

I love unconventional gifts and means of showing affection. In The Holiday, Jack Black plays a song for Kate Winslet that he wrote for her: "Iris if you were a melody...I only used the good notes."

Okay, so that's pretty typical, but my other favorite is from Stranger than Fiction. Will Ferrall falls for Maggie Gyllenhaal, who is a baker. He shows up at her store as she is closing with a box of brown paper bags. When she asked what he brought her her replies. "Flours."
SERIOUSLY! Where are the guys who wrote this? Nope, wait, only women and fantastically gay men would be clever and romantic enough to think up this one. Specialty 'flours' for a baker. C'mon!

My other moment is from the musical Wicked. Glenda has just snagged her dreamboat and is speaking to a crowd, saying this: "He couldn't look handsomer, I couldn't feel humbler. We couldn't be happier, because happy is what happens when all your dreams come true."

And here is my VD gift to you all: WICKED IS COMING TO OMAHA!!!!!!

Do not go looking for tickets for the dates have not been officially announced. But I can tell you that it will be there in October this fall!!!
"Who can say if I've been changed for the better? But, because I knew you I have been changed for good."

Happy VD everyone!
