So, today at the gym I wore my stripper shoes for the second time. They are 5.5 inches tall. Needless to say, I'm not so good at walking in them. Halfway through pole class, I head across the room to get a rag to wipe-off the pole. Halfway across the gym... one heel tilts sideways causing my knee to buckle. I end up sprawled on my back on the floor. Now, here's the kicker. When doing these classes, the teachers tell you to just try and make mistakes look like they were on purpose. If you lose your balance, act like you meant to take two steps and pose. If you throw up an arm to stop yourself, follow with a body trace. Yup, just rub your hands down a few strategic places. (Not something you want to hear mom, but most of these comments are meant to insight giggles and help the less coordinated ones feel a little more confident.)
As I lay there on the floor, a couple girls yelled out. "Make it look good!" and "Trace your body!". After staying down long enough to determine that nothing was broken, I rolled over and rolled up off the floor and true pole dance style. Unfortunately, it was really hard with a sprained ankle. It still hurts, but perhaps that was due to working for four hours at Victoria's Secret after that.
To get the full effect, here are the shoes. I will master them yet.

hot hot hot!!! I am sure it was a sexy spill. :)
That is too-oo-oo funny. [Not the sprained ankle.] Charlie Brown says, "You need a better fit with the shoes!" [I shouldn't use quotes but that's what he meant.] Ice, ice, ice!!!!
