I quit. literally.
Ann Taylor Loft is a joke to work for. They talk about helping the customers and such, but I decided that the constant pushing of the credit cards and the hourly sales updates were not conducive to a positive state of mind. (Okay ladies, items per transaction are down so lets push accessories this hour!)
My last day is Sunday. Hey, I have a closet full of nice clothes (Seriously, they don't even fit in there now.) Not to mention about 5 clutches and several pairs of shoes. I'm just over the stress. Hopefully, I hear back from one of the apps that I put out to other places. My manager wasn't even questioning why I left. She just assumed that it was due to the low hours and I let her believe it. Meh. Now I don't have to request time off for when OM is in town in April! Yeah!
