Happy Mother's day ladies! Hope you all had great days yesterday.
I went to Faith's wedding on Sat. It was a beautiful ceremony and Faith looked amazing. Beri rode down with me and I drove Brandon home since he was part of the wedding party. (He NEEDED a driver.) It was a good day, yet an awful day. Beri and I were pretty much the only people our age there other than the wedding party. After the wedding, we sat around for an hour and a half waiting for the food to be served. It was a fantastic meal, but Beri had to leave right after that, so I was left alone. Then came the toasts. They were awful! Three bridesmaids gave speeches and they were all of those little inside stories and no one from the crowd got them. The drunkest girl talked for nearly ten minutes just reminiscing. Brandon's started off bad and didn't really get better. I mean, I love the guy, but he started off with: "Fornication, I mean for an occasion...such as this."
You've got to be kidding me.
Then, we sat around for another hour waiting for the dance to start. About two and a half hours into it, I sprained my foot, BAD. I sat out and iced it for the next two hours and then we finally got to go home.
When things were going on, it was great, but the down time sucked. Well, we aren't all meant to be wedding planners and speech writers.
Sat around yesterday and tried to take it easy on the foot. I can walk on it, but I have a pretty bad limp. Katie laughed at my swollen toes. The highlight of yesterday was when I called Angie to wish her a happy mother's day. She said that she and Brett are calling it her Half Mother's Day. Alaina got on the phone and said "Hi Angie" and "Hi baby" to her. It was sweet.

I am so excited that you are going to be an aunt again!!! Hurry up, October!!!! ;)
Hope your foot is getting better. Give me a call later. I am just sitting and waiting. It stinks.
Sux that we couldn't get together this weekend, but it would've been rough for your sprained foot and all.
Remember all of those fine points for your own wedding. No down time. Got it.
Perhaps you could use white paper for table cloths and provide crayons? That would be fun. ;0)
Hey!! Get to bloggin girl!!! It's bad when I out-blog you!
